Poppa Joe Is Back Home!

All praises to God for taking and bringing Joe safely from his deployment.
God be glorified in all things. Today, tomorrow, and forever, we prayerfully thank God for the sacrifice of his brother, Tom, who paid the ultimate sacrifice the year before Joe went to take his place on the battlefield. Our prayers continue, also, for Shannon -- who has served her country well on the battlefields for liberty in countries abroad. We thank and praise God for Joe's and Tom's parents and relatives.

We pray God's continued blessings over the many friends and comrades who remain on the battlefield, who have been injured in battle, and for all those who gave the ultimate sacrifice.

Thank God for Rev. Melinda Lancaster and colleagues who keep this matter in prayer. Special prayerful blessings for Pastor Lin, who understands what it is like to have a loved one serve on the far off battlefields.

Dear Lord, may we never forget the cost of freedom. Hard fought. Hard won.
Somebody needs to appreciate that and say, Hallelujah!
